Mall Navigation Mobile App
We designed and built a cross-platform mobile application that transforms the shopping experience. Using Bluetooth beacons and custom mapping, the app provides turn-by-turn indoor navigation, real-time store promotions, and parking assistance. The intuitive UI guides visitors from the entrance to any store in seconds.
The Challenge
Indoor environments lack GPS coverage, making accurate positioning extremely difficult. The mall had multiple floors and complex walkways that traditional mapping could not handle.
Our Solution
We deployed a network of Bluetooth Low-Energy beacons throughout the mall and developed a custom trilateration algorithm. Combined with floor-plan overlays on a custom map renderer, we achieved sub-3-meter accuracy across all levels.
The Result
The app was adopted by over 15,000 shoppers in the first month. Average visit duration increased by 22%, and participating stores saw a 18% uplift in foot traffic from in-app promotions.
